Geophysics Project Manager
Christian joined Headland Archaeology in 2022 as a Geophysics Project Manager. As a geophysics Project Manager Christian works closely with Senior Management, Clients and Field Staff to ensure that projects keep to budget and within time constraints.
Christian has 10 years of experience working in commercial archaeological geophysics, where he worked on projects throughout England, Scotland, Wales and The Republic of Ireland. While working at Magnitude Surveys he managed numerous surveys which ranged from small scale research and community surveys to large scale national infrastructure projects. These included a project to characterise a possible Viking house or boat burial on Nave Island, Scotland and numerous sections of the Anglian Water Strategic Pipeline Alliance. At Headland, Christian’s primary responsibilities include preparation of cost estimates and specifications, day to day management of geophysical surveys, training of staff and completing surveys on schedule.
He has substantial experience of a wide range of geophysical survey techniques including magnetometry, earth resistance, ground penetrating radar, electromagnetic and microgravity. Christian is also experienced in geophysical survey processing software, AutoCAD, QGIS and other software packs.
