Geophysics Manager
Isabella joined Headland Archaeology in January 2025 as a Geophysics Project Manager. She has worked in commercial archaeological geophysics since 2019, applying a range of techniques including magnetometry, GPR, EM and earth resistance.
As a qualified drone pilot, she has undertaken drone and multispectral surveys and carried out geochemical pXRF surveys in both Italy and the UK. Since 2022, she has managed surveys ranging from small-scale projects to magnetic surveys exceeding 1,200ha, as well as GPR and EM investigations. Although the majority of her work has been commercial, she has also contributed to research and community-led projects.
Her current role at Headland centres on managing geophysical survey teams and overseeing project delivery. In 2025, she managed several large-scale schemes, including Lincolnshire Reservoir Phase 2 and two solar DCO projects: Beacon (Devon) and Tasway Energy Farm (Norfolk). Isabella has a strong interest in staff development and has experience creating new training plans and introducing new ways of working within the team.
